Display And Control Unit, CLIMATRONIC

NOTE:

The Climatronic control module -J255- and the A/C control head -E87- are one component that cannot be disassembled.

Perform a basic setting and an adaptation A/C compressor first start either in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions when a new Climatronic control module display -E87- and a Climatronic control module are installed.

Note the following on a vehicle with a Start/Stop System. Refer to START/STOP SYSTEM .

Removing

-- Remove the A/C control / heater control trim (Golf from MY 2009). Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the screws -2- (1.5 ± 0.2 Nm) and remove the Climatronic control module from the instrument panel.

-- Disconnect harness connectors from A/C control head.

Installing

NOTE:

Perform a basic setting and an adaptation A/C compressor first start either in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions when a new Climatronic control module display and a Climatronic control module are installed.

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the tightening specification 1.5 ± 0.2 Nm for the screws.
