Steering Column Bracket

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Removing

-- Remove the steering column. Refer to STEERING COLUMN .

-- Remove the instrument cluster. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the bolt -arrow A-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows B- from the bracket on the body.

NOTE:

The bolts -arrows B- are installed through the cross member.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- under the bracket.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and remove the bracket from body.

Installing

-- Install the bracket and bolts -arrows and 1-.

-- Install the bolts -arrows B-.

NOTE:

The bolts -arrows B- are installed through the cross member.

-- Install the bolt -arrow A-.

-- Install the steering column. Refer to STEERING COLUMN .

-- Install the instrument cluster. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Perform the steering angle sensor basic setting using the vehicle diagnostic tester.
