Engine, Securing To The Engine And Transmission Holder: Procedure

-- Separate the transmission from the engine. Refer to ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION, SEPARATING .

-- Install the lifting tackle 3033 as shown and lift the engine using the shop crane - load cap = 700-1200 KGVAS 6100 off of the engine-/gearbox jack V.A.G 1383 A.

Vibration damper side: Position 3.

Flywheel side: Position 11.
