Windshield Wiper System: Removing

-- Deactivate the APP function. Refer to WIPER MOTOR CONTROL MODULE, DEACTIVATING ALTERNATING PARK POSITION FUNCTION .

-- Let the wiper return to its park position and then turn off the ignition.

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to battery in engine compartment BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING or battery in luggage compartment BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

NOTE:

In order remove the wiper frame with linkage and the Windshield Wiper Motor -V-, wiper arms and plenum chamber cover must be removed.

-- Removing wiper arms, refer to WIPER ARMS

Wiper Frame with Linkage and Windshield Wiper Motor -V-, Removing

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the wiper frame from the vehicle.
