Selector Mechanism Overview, From 03.09
WARNING:
Move the selector lever into the "P" position and set the parking brake before working with the engine running.
- Selector Handle with Cover
- Do not remove the handle unnecessarily. For emergency release, only cover must be removed. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER, MANUAL RELEASE .
- Button on the side: Pull the button out of the handle just far enough until there is a small gap between the handle and the button. The button will lock in this position once it is released. Prevent the button from being pressed in using a cable tie or wire.
- Button in the front: The button is locked in its installed position when the handle is removed.
- Removing and installing, refer to SELECTOR LEVER HANDLE .
- Selector Lever and Selector Mechanism with Selector Lever Cable
- With the shift lock solenoid -N110-.
- Do not grease cable.
- Removing and installing, refer to SELECTOR LEVER AND SELECTOR MECHANISM WITH SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, FROM 03.09 .
- Checking, refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECKING .
- Adjusting, refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, ADJUSTING .
