Generator, Checking

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Vehicle Diagnostic Tester
• Diagnostic Cable VAS 5051/6A

-- Connect Vehicle diagnostic tester. Refer to Description and Operation .

Select "Guided Fault Finding" in the Vehicle diagnostic tester.

After all control modules have been checked:

-- Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

• Body
• Electrical Equipment
• 27 - Starter, power supply
• Electrical Components
• Generator (GEN) -C-

-- Or, in Vehicle diagnostic tester, select operating mode "Guided Functions".
