Selector Mechanism Cover
Removing
-- Remove the selector lever handle. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER HANDLE .
-- The procedure for disconnecting the battery must absolutely be obeyed.
-- Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) cable with the ignition turned off. Refer to Removal and Installation .
-- Remove the selector cover from the center console. Refer to Removal and Installation .
-- Disconnect the connector -1-.
-- Carefully pry up the retaining clips -2- on the left and right side of the frame.
Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Pay attention to the following:
-- Install the selector over to the center console. Refer to Removal and Installation .
-- Connect the battery. Refer to Removal and Installation .
-- Install the selector lever handle. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER HANDLE .
