Selector Lever Emergency Release

NOTE:

The selector lever handle and cover with selector cover -2- are not removed for this purpose.

-- Remove the center console storage compartment. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the selector mechanism cover Removal and Installation .

The selector lever park position solenoid -N380- -1- sits on the right side when viewed in the direction of travel -arrow-.

-- Press the solenoid core in the -direction of arrow- from above with a long, thin screwdriver.

-- Press the selector lever button and switch the selector lever to the "N" position.
