Power Steering System, Bleeding
-- Inspect hydraulic oil level and fill as needed.
-- Raise vehicle until front wheels are off the ground.
-- Start engine and let it run at idle for approximately 5 seconds.
-- Switch off engine and check hydraulic fluid level.
-- Repeat procedure once more.
-- Start engine again and turn steering wheel 3 times from stop to stop at idle speed.
-- Switch off engine and check hydraulic fluid level, fill if necessary.
-- Repeat procedure 2 times.
To dissipate gas of hydraulic fluid, let engine stand 2 to 3 minutes.
-- Lower vehicle.
-- Now, once more, turn steering wheel 5 times from stop to stop at idle speed.
Steering system has been bled when air bubbles no longer rise to the surface in hydraulic fluid reservoir.
