Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519-, Coding

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Vehicle Diagnostic Tester

The Vehicle Electrical System Control Module must be coded under the following conditions

• Changes were made to vehicle equipment.
• One particular functionality is to be changed.
• Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519- must be replaced.

Coding Vehicle Electrical System Control Module 

-- Connect the Vehicle diagnostic tester. Refer to Description and Operation .

-- In Vehicle diagnostic tester, select operating mode "Guided Fault Finding".

-- Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

• Body
• Electrical Equipment
• 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems
• Vehicle Electrical System Control Module
• Functions of Vehicle Electrical System Control Module
• Coding Vehicle Electrical System Control Module
