Telematics Control Head Buttons, Functionality

Telematics control head is located at front center under headliner.

"OnStar" button is used by customer to call "OnStar" Telematics call center, so he can easily make use of several services provided. After replacing Telematics Control Module, it is also used to reactivate subscription of customer and to update customer account.

"Emergency" button is used by customer to call "OnStar" Telematics call center in order to ask for emergency services, such as fire department, police etc.

"Communication" button is used for ending conversation with "OnStar" Telematics call center. Additionally, button is used to make personal calls to Telematics call center or to answer calls. Accidentally pressing another Telematics system button can end the procedure using the "Communication" button.

NOTE:

Use of certain "OnStar" services requires a subscriber's Personal Identification Number (PIN).
