CLIMATRONIC Passenger Compartment Components Overview

Before beginning assembly work on electrical system, perform the following:
- Switch off all electrical consumers.
- Switch off ignition.
- Remove ignition key.
- A/C Control Head -E87- "2 Zone" with Climatronic Control Module -J255-
- A/C Control Head -E87- "4 Zone" with Climatronic Control Module -J255-
- Left Motor Mounting Plates
- Motor locations on the "4 Zone" heater and A/C unit, refer to HEATER AND A/C UNIT MOTOR LOCATIONS, 4 ZONE .
- Motor locations on the "2 Zone" heater and A/C unit, refer to HEATER AND A/C UNIT MOTOR LOCATIONS, 2 ZONE .
- Upper Part Of Air Distribution Housing
- Left Front Upper Body Outlet Temperature Sensor -G385-
- Removing and installing, refer to LEFT FRONT UPPER BODY VENT -G385- .
- Right Front Upper Body Outlet Temperature Sensor -G386-
- Removing and installing, refer to RIGHT FRONT UPPER BODY VENT -G386- .
- Right Motor Mounting Plates
- Motor locations on the "4 Zone" heater and A/C unit, refer to HEATER AND A/C UNIT MOTOR LOCATIONS, 4 ZONE .
- Motor locations on the "2 Zone" heater and A/C unit, refer to HEATER AND A/C UNIT MOTOR LOCATIONS, 2 ZONE .
- Glove Compartment Cooling Hose
- Evaporator Temperature Sensor -G308-
- Removing and installing, refer to EVAPORATOR -G308- OR EVAPORATOR VENT -G263- .
- Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor -G89-
- Removing and installing, refer to FRESH AIR INTAKE DUCT TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G89- .
- Front Bitron Blower Regulation Sensor -G462-
- Removing and installing, refer to FRONT BITRON BLOWER REGULATION SENSOR -G462- .
- Front Bitron Blower Regulation Motor -V305-
- Removing and installing, refer to FRONT BITRON BLOWER REGULATION MOTOR -V305- .
- Fresh/Recirculating Air Door Motor -V154-
- Removing and installing, refer to FRESH/RECIRCULATING AIR DOOR MOTOR -V154- .
- Dust and Pollen Filter With Activated Charcoal Filter Element
- Removing and installing, refer to DUST AND POLLEN FILTER WITH ACTIVATED CHARCOAL FILTER INSERT .
- Right Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G262-
- Removing and installing, refer to RIGHT FOOTWELL VENT -G262- .
- Left Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G261-
