Towing Recognition Control Module -J345-

NOTE:

The same procedure is used to remove and install the towing recognition control module made by Westfalia and Hella. The procedure is only described for one version.

Removal

-- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

-- Remove right luggage compartment trim. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NOTE:

The number of connectors -arrows- on the towing recognition control module -1- may differ from the illustration depending on vehicle equipment and/or manufacturer.

-- Disengage connectors -arrows- and disconnect them from towing recognition control module.

-- Remove mounting bolt -1- and remove towing recognition control module upward out of bracket.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

After installing a new towing recognition control module (only modules from Westfalia), it must be coded. Refer to TOWING RECOGNITION CONTROL MODULE -J345-, (ONLY WESTFALIA), CODING .
