Rear Navigation Radio Programming Update For Various Functionality Concerns

The radio may lock up when a U-Connect call ends, this may cause battery drain.
Intermittent no sound from audio system.
Repeated "Updating Channels" message when in satellite radio mode.
iPhone4 (4.2.1) losing Bluetooth connection intermittently and not displaying accurate caller ID information when using UConnect.

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

Software concern.

PRODUCTION SOLUTION

Software 2.402 released MY 2011.

SERVICE

Insert key and switch the ignition to the ON position without starting.
Insert programming CD RERFLSW2.402 into the radio.
Verify the software is below 2.402.

Tip: If software is found to be at 2.402 or higher, this technical bulletin DOES NOT apply, further diagnosis is required.
Touch the YES button on the screen to start the software update.
NOTE: Do not cycle the ignition during the update process.
Once the update has completed, verify the software is at 2.402.
Remove the flash disc and store in a secure spot.
NOTE: If the software update process is interrupted/aborted, the process should be restarted.
Using StarMobile clear any DTC's that may have been set in other modules during software update.
