SERVICE INFORMATION

2010 Golf TPMS Basic Settings

The 2010 Golf may lose basic settings for TPMS coding or pressure setting. The TPMS light comes on blinking for 60 seconds and stays on solid to indicate a system malfunction. Fault 01325 or 01521 may be stored. This happens on cars that have the BCM with integrated TPMS module.

Recommend checking BCM AW 09 software level (not TPMS). If the BCM software is lower than 0576, update using SVM code 33BC. After completing the software update (or if update is not required), make sure the coding of the TPMS module AW 65 is 01 87 04 and specified pressure shown in MVB 23 is the placard pressure in bar. If values in MVB 23 are 5.5, change adaptation values 5, 6, 7, and 8 to the correct sticker pressure in bar. Before changing adaptation values, access/authorization code 1503 must be entered. After saving the values in adaptation, double check TPMS MVB 23 values are all the same.
