Glow Plug Characteristics

WARNING:

Ceramic glow plugs are susceptible to shock and bending. For this reason, do not use ceramic glow plugs which have dropped (even from a height of approximately 2 cm) under any circumstances, even if no visible damage can be detected. Installation instructions must be performed in sequence, otherwise there is a danger the plug breaks and will cause damage to the engine.

Characteristics of Ceramic or Metal Glow Plugs

A - Ceramic glow plugs are color coded with a "white seal" -arrow- and become narrower at the tip.

B - Metal glow plugs are color coded with a "red seal" -arrow-.
