Remote Key With Access/Start Authorization (KESSY), Adapting
NOTE:
The keys are automatically adapted to the control module for the access/start authorization when they are adapted to the anti-theft immobilizer.
The adaption for keys with the access/start authorization is carried out via the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 A.
-- Select "Guided Fault Finding" on the vehicle diagnostic tester VAS 5051 A.
-- Using the "Go To" button, select "Function/Component selection" and the following menu items one after the other:
- Body
- Electrical Equipment (Repair Groups 01; 27 and 90 through 97)
- 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems
- 25 - Anti-theft immobilizer 4C
- 25 - Anti-theft immobilizer functions
- Adapt the key
