Spark Plug: Installing

CAUTION: Start each spark plug by hand in order to avoid cross threading and plug damage, use a quality socket with a foam insert.

-- Install the spark plug. Tighten the plug to 27 Nm (20 ft lbs).

-- Install the ignition coil (3) and bolt (2). Tighten the bolt to 8 Nm (71 in lbs).

-- Connect the wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the ignition coil (3).

-- Install the upper intake manifold. Refer to UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD .

-- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY .
