Spark Plug Wire: Installing

Failure to route the wires properly could cause the radio to reproduce ignition noise, cross ignition of the spark plugs or short circuit the wires to ground. Install the spark plug insulators over the spark plugs. Ensure that the top of the spark plug insulator covers the upper end of the spark plug, then connect the other end to the ignition coil.

Install the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
