Fuel Pump Module: Installing

-- Install a new fuel pump module O-ring into the fuel tank groove.

CAUTION:

The fuel pump module must be installed correctly in order to prevent damage to the fuel pump module.

-- Line up the fuel pump module mounting tab to the arrow on the fuel tank.

-- Install the fuel pump module lock ring over the fuel pump module.

-- Install the fuel pump lock ring wrench 9340, and turn the lock ring (2) clockwise until the lock ring (1) is seated and locked to fuel tank.

-- Connect the fuel line quick connect fitting (2) to fuel pump module (3).

-- Connect the electrical connector (1) to fuel pump module (3).

-- Install the fuel tank. Refer to FUEL TANK .
