Emission Control System (All Models)

Manufacturer warrants that this vehicle is designed, built, and equipped so as to conform at the time of sale with all U.S. and California Air Resources Board emission regulations applicable at the time of manufacture and that this vehicle is free from defects in materials and workmanship which cause it to fail to conform with applicable regulations for 2 years after the date of first use or delivery of the vehicle to the original retail customer or until the vehicle has been driven 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

If the vehicle has been in use for more than 24 months or 24,000 miles but less than 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever occurs first, your Volkswagen dealer will remedy free of charge only failures of the following major emission control components:

• Catalytic Converter
• Engine Electronic Control Module
• On Board Emissions Diagnostic Device
