Engine To Transmission Tightening Specifications

  1. Driving Direction

    Drive Plate to Torque Converter

    • 60 Nm.
    • Quantity: 6, remove and install using the socket SW!5V/175.

    M12 Bolts

    • 80 Nm.
    • 65 Nm, if using the insert tool 18 mm T10179.

    M10 Bolts

    • 40 Nm.
    • The bolts are located in the lower flange.

    Arrows - for the Centering Sleeves Inside the Engine

Additional Tightening Specifications 

Component Tightening Specifications
Transmission bracket to the transmission (four M10 bolts) 40 Nm + 90°
Transmission bracket to the transmission mount (two M12 bolts) 60 Nm + 90°
Transmission fluid pipe brackets to the transmission, see Fig 2. 9 Nm
Transmission fluid pipes to the cooler, see Fig 4. 25 Nm
Transmission fluid pipes to the transmission pay attention to the length of the bolts, see Fig 3. 25 Nm

Bolt -1- = M8 x 45

Bolt -2- = M8 x 38
