Intake Manifold Flap, Servicing

When engine is switched off, the intake manifold flap is closed for approx. 3 seconds and then opens again. This reduces the stop jolt.

A - Intake manifold flap with Motor for intake flap -V157- * or Intake Flap Motor 2 -V275- *

Cylinder bank 1:

Motor for intake flap -V157-.

Cylinder bank 2:

Intake Flap Motor 2 -V275-.

NOTE:

Cylinder bank 1 is located in direction of travel, right.

Cylinder bank 2 is located in direction of travel, left.

Check Motor for intake flap INTAKE FLAP MOTOR, CHECKING .
