SERVICE INFORMATION

2007 Jetta, Passat, GTI, Rabbit, and EOS, Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) Software Change

As of software level 4.40 (440 as shown in the scan tool) there is a new function of the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. After an ignition cycle, the TPMS light will blink for about 5 seconds if there is a potential malfunction in the system. This should help to determine if a car simply has a low tire, or if there is a potential malfunction in the system.
