TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

The addition of aftermarket cooling system sealers may affect the hydrodynamics of the cooling system, therefore reducing coolant flow and the ability to exchange heat properly.

No production change required.

NOTE: DO NOT use cooling system sealants of any kind.

Volkswagen Group of America does not recommend use of cooling system sealants.

Cooling system flush, drain and refill, or partial drain and refill IS NOT a warrantable item.
