-- Loosen interior trim in upper area Removal and Installation

-- Remove B- and C-pillar trim Removal and Installation

-- Thrust awl V.A.G 1474/2 -1- through adhesive bead.

-- Push cutting cord through adhesive sealing material into vehicle interior -3- using awl V.A.G 1474/2 -2-.

-- Secure end of cutting cord on inside against pulling out using pull handle V.A.G 1351/1 -1-.

-- Loosen sealing lip all around from window flange and spray with cleaning solution D 009 401 01 (as a substitute for lubricant).

-- Place cutting cord -2- around side window.

-- Using a small tube -3-, guide cutting cord -2- between lip and window flange and also guide second cord end inside.

-- Secure second cord end to spooling tool V.A.G 1654 A and cut window free by positioning spooling tool.

-- While cutting free, press cutting cord against window using wedge V.A.G 1474/5 to have clearance to window flange.
