Subframe, removing and installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Removing
- Remove lower noise insulation.
- Remove bracket for exhaust system from subframe.

Front Wheel Drive (FWD) vehicles





- Remove bolts - arrows - from heat shield.
- Remove heat shield from subframe.

Continuation for all vehicles





- Remove pendulum support from transmission, to do so remove bolt - 14 -.
- Now unscrew bolts for:
^ Steering gear - 3 - and - 6
^ Stabilizer bar - 11 - and - 16
^ and subframe - 4 -, - 5 -, - 12 - and - 15 -.

Installing
Installation is in reverse order of removal.
- Install noise insulation and tighten.
