Ignition Key, Variable Code Transponder

It is not possible to replace variable code transponder in ignition key.

Ignition key must always be replaced if variable code transponder is malfunctioning.

If an ignition key is replaced or another ignition key is required, the new ignition key must always be adapted to the immobilizer. Refer to=> [ Ignition Key, Adapting to Immobilizer ] Ignition Key, Adapting to Immobilizer.

If radio-frequency unit (transmitter for radio operated central locking) of ignition key is replaced, it must be adapted to the comfort system (through MY 2009). Refer to => [ Key, through MY 09, Adapting to Comfort System ] Key, through MY 09, Adapting to Comfort System.
