Central Air Door Motor -V70-
- Checking, use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B.
- Removing and installing, refer to CENTRAL AIR DOOR MOTOR -V70- .
- Replacing, initiate Basic Setting using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B. Refer to CLIMATRONIC, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING COMPONENTS .
Left Temperature Door Motor -V158-
- Checking, use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B.
- Removing and installing, refer to LEFT TEMPERATURE DOOR MOTOR -V158- .
- Replacing, initiate Basic Setting using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B. Refer to CLIMATRONIC, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING COMPONENTS .
Defroster Door Motor -V107-
- Checking, use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B.
- Removing and installing, refer to DEFROSTER DOOR MOTOR V107 .
- Replacing, initiate Basic Setting using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B. Refer to CLIMATRONIC, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING COMPONENTS .
Bracket
Screws
- Bolts must be unscrewed to separate air distributor and evaporator housing.
Cover
Vehicles through 04.07 Recirculation Door Motor -V113-, from 05.07 the Recirculation Door Motor -V113- is Discontinued.
- Checking, use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B.
- Removing and installing, refer to RECIRCULATION DOOR MOTOR -V113- .
- Replacing, initiate Basic Setting using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B. Refer to CLIMATRONIC, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING COMPONENTS .
Vehicles through 04.07 Air Flow Door Motor -V71- ; from 05.07 Fresh Air/Recirculating Air/Back Pressure Door Motor Position Sensor -V425-
- Checking, use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B.
- Removing and installing, refer to AIRFLOW DOOR MOTOR -V71-, THROUGH 04.07 on vehicles through 04.07.
- Removing and installing, refer to FRESH AIR/RECIRCULATING AIR/BACK PRESSURE DOOR MOTOR -V425-, FROM 05.07 on vehicles from 05.07.
- Replacing, initiate Basic Setting using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B. Refer to CLIMATRONIC, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING COMPONENTS .
Housing For Air Entry
- With recirculating air door.
- With air flow door (Climatronic).
Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor -G89-
- Only installed on vehicles through 12.05.
- Checking, use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B.
- Task: Temperature sensor controls temperature door and fresh air blower depending on temperature.
- To disassemble, remove the instrument panel. Refer to Removal and Installation .
Evaporator Housing Upper Section
- Disassembling and assembling evaporator housing. Refer to EVAPORATOR HOUSING OVERVIEW .
Evaporator Housing Lower Section
- Disassembling and assembling evaporator housing. Refer to EVAPORATOR HOUSING OVERVIEW .
Evaporator
- Removing and installing, refer to EVAPORATOR .
Evaporator Temperature Sensor -G308- or Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor -G263-
- Checking, use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B.
  NOTE:
  One or both of the component designations will appear, depending on software. The tasks are the same.
- Removing and installing, refer to EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G308- OR EVAPORATOR VENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G263- .
Connection For Glove Compartment Cooling
- For disassembly, the glove compartment must be removed. Refer to Removal and Installation .
Coolant Hose For Glove Compartment Cooling
- For disassembly, the glove compartment must be removed. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Installation position of glove compartment cooling connection, refer to Installation position of glove compartment cooling connection .
Fresh Air Blower -V2- with Fresh Air Blower Control Module -J126-
- On vehicles from 11/05, Fresh Air Blower Control Module -J126- can be replaced separately.
- Checking, use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B.
- Fresh Air Blower -V2-, removing and installing, refer to FRESH AIR BLOWER -V2- .
- Fresh Air Blower Control Module J126, removing and installing, refer to FRESH AIR BLOWER CONTROL MODULE -J126- .
Dust and Pollen Filter
- With activated charcoal filter.
- Removing and installing, refer to DUST AND POLLEN FILTER .
Cover
- For dust and pollen filter.
Heater Core
- Removing and installing, refer to HEATER CORE .
Right Temperature Door Motor -V159-
- Checking, use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B.
- Removing and installing, refer to RIGHT TEMPERATURE DOOR MOTOR -V159- .
- Replacing, initiate Basic Setting using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B. Refer to CLIMATRONIC, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING COMPONENTS .

Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35-
- Only installed on vehicles with Diesel engine.
