Ignition system components, removing and installing

  1. Connector 
    • Black, 4 pin
  2. 10 Nm 
  3. Ignition coil with output stage -N70-,-N127-, -N291-, -N292- 
  4. Spark plug, 30 Nm 
  5. 3-pin connector 
    • Contacts gold plated
    • Brown for Knock sensor (KS) 1 -G61-
    • Black for Knock sensor (KS) 2 -G66-
  6. 20 Nm 
    • Tightening torque influences the function of the knock sensor
  7. Knock sensor (KS) 1 -G61-* 
  8. Knock sensor (KS) 2 -G66-* 
  9. Connector 
    • Black, 3-pin
  10. 10 Nm 
  11. Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor 2 - G163-* 
  12. 25 Nm 
  13. Washer 
    • Conical
  14. Hood 
    • For Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor 2 -G163-
    • When installing note fixing arrangement
  15. Ground wire 
    • Only loosen or tighten with ignition switched off
  16. 10 Nm 
    • Only loosen or tighten with ignition switched off
