- Measuring equipment properly adjusted
- Vehicle at curb weight (Curb weight is weight of vehicle ready for the road including: full fuel tank, spare wheel, jack and tool kit, if included.)
- Tires inflated to specified pressures. (Tire sizes and pressures, see specification label on vehicle, located on passenger-side rear door pillar - B-pillar on 2-door vehicles, C-pillar on 4-door vehicles.)
- Vehicle positioned precisely
- Suspension bounced several times
- No excessive play or damage to suspension, steering or steering linkage
