2007-2015 EOS - Fault Code 02805 "System Interference" in Convertible Top

May 15, 2015: Update to Model Year Applicability.

Fault code 02805 is a generic fault code for one top condition out of sequence. Such as one hall sensor reading is different than its counterpart or the time limit has been reached for the sequence to be completed in the top operation. The first step in diagnosis is to check the MFI for any error codes when operating (such as "close trunk"). If there are no errors present or it simply reads "convertible top operation interrupted", then start checking the binary values of the sensors in MVB 2 and MVB 5 for luggage cover and pull down motor status. See chart below for hall sensor positions and status.

NOTE: G672 is sensor 13 for MY 2009 and up.
