Display And Control Unit: Removing

NOTE:

The Climatronic Control Module -J255- and the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- are one component that cannot be disassembled.

Perform a basic setting and an adaptation "A/C compressor first start" either in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions when a new Front A/C Display Control Head and a Climatronic Control Module are installed.

-- Remove the trim around the A/C and heater controls, refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- (1.5 ± 0.2 Nm) and the Front A/C Display Control Head.

-- Disconnect the connectors from the Front A/C Display Control Head.
