Compass Magnetic Field Sensor -G197-

The compass magnetic field sensor is installed inside the rear lid on the left side.

Removal 

Do the following before starting the procedure:

-- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

-- Remove the rear lid trim panel. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Unclip Compass Magnetic Field Sensor at both attaching points -arrows-.

-- Press locking mechanism of harness connector -arrows- and disconnect it.

Installation 

Install in reverse order of removal.

-- System must be calibrated anew after installation. Refer to the Owner's Manual.
