Antenna Amplifier -R24-

Removal 

Do the following before starting the procedure:

-- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

-- Remove the rear lid trim panel. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Disengage connectors -1, 2 and 3- and remove them.

-- Remove screws -arrows-.

-- Remove antenna amplifier.

Installation 

When installing, make sure that antenna connections in rear lid -arrows- and bolts on antenna amplifier -arrows- are metallically clean so that no contact problems occur.

NOTE:

Operational current for antenna amplifier flows via the two contact connections of antenna wires in the antenna amplifier. If the antenna amplifier mounting bolts are not tightened correctly, then no current flows, resulting in a loss of reception and a malfunction entry follows.

The rest of the installation is performed in the reverse order.
