Telephone Electronics Control Module, Up To 06.06

The Telephone Operating Electronics Control Module is installed under the front right seat.

Removal

Do the following before starting the procedure:

-- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

-- Remove the right front seat. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Unclip cover on sill.

-- Unclip cover in right front footwell.

-- Pull up floor carpet in rear of seat and fold it back toward center console as far as it will go. The control module for the cellular telephone controls can be seen next to the connector station.

-- Unclip both plastic tabs -1- in -direction of arrow-.

-- Remove control module -arrow- with wires connected.

-- Operate catch -arrow- at red harness connector and disconnect harness connector.

-- Press catch -A- on black harness connector and fold the bracket over in direction of arrow -B-.

-- Disconnect the connector.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.
