Remote Control Keys, Adapting to Immobilizer

Adaptation to anti-theft immobilizer for ignition keys with and without remote control operation takes place using Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B).

- In Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) , select "Guided Fault Finding".

- Using the "Go to" button, select "Function/Component selection" and the following menu items one after another:

• Body

• Electrical System

• 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems

• Anti-Theft Immobilizer

• Anti-theft immobilizer functions

• Ignition key adaptation
