DTC recognition and display:

Access/Start Control Module J518 is equipped with On Board Diagnostics (OBD) which assists troubleshooting.

To diagnose, use the "Guided Fault Finding" function of the vehicle testing, measurement, and information system VAS 5051.

• Connect Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A.
• Select operating mode "Guided Fault Finding" on Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051.
• Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

• Body
• Body repair procedures
• 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems
• Anti-theft Immobilizer

• Electrical components
• J518 Access/Start Control Module
