Telephone/Telematics Control Module J526 , removing:

• Remove bolts - arrows  - from holding plate on luggage compartment side beneath rear shelf.

Holding plate is secured with 9 Torx bolts: 7 all around holding plate and 2 in center of holding plate.

• Remove bolts - arrows  -.

• Release locking mechanism of harness connector using small screwdriver. Insert screwdriver into bracket - arrow  - ; locking mechanism will open by turning screwdriver.

Do not under any circumstances open cover on underside of control module. Failure to heed warning will result in malfunction of telephone system and DTCs in control module.
