Transmission Fluid Level, Checking And Filling: Filling

-- Install the adapter for oil filling VAS 6291/2 VAS 6262/2 into the oil pan hole, hand-tight while the engine is running.

-- Shake the bottles before opening.

-- Read the information regarding the pipe before attaching the adapter for oil filling VAS 6262 A to the fluid container. Refer to Shortening the pipe on the adapter for oil filling VAS 6262 A: .

-- Fill with 1 liter fluid.

-- Connect the oil filler adapter VAS 6262 to the quick release coupling and check:

If fluid lows out of the hole: 

The fluid does not need to be topped off.

-- Allow the fluid to drain until it drips.

-- Install and tighten the plug with a new seal to 27 Nm. The fluid level check is now completed.

If the fluid does not drip: 

-- Fill with another liter of fluid.
