Comfort Module Replacement With "D" Suffix Steering Column Module (ESCL)

When replacing the Comfort Module -J393- in vehicles with a "D" suffix Electronic Steering Column Lock -J764-, terminal 15 cannot be switched on or the adaptation cannot be completed.

SERVICE

The Electronic Steering Column Lock control module (ESCL) -J764- must also be replaced. The ESCL suffix can only be found by looking at a Guided Fault Finding (GFF) log.
