Work sequence

Work step: 1
- Start engine and run at idling speed for at least 35 seconds.
Work step: 2
- Road test.
Vehicles with manual transmission: in 3rd gear.
Vehicles with automatic transmission: in 2nd gear.
Observe safety procedures during test drive → Safety precautions .
- Drive for at least 5 seconds at a constant engine speed of 2000 RPM (observe tachometer).
Work step: 3
- Accelerate at full throttle from an engine speed of 2200 rpm for at least 8 seconds.
Work step: 4
- Switch engine off and wait 10 seconds minimum.
- Repeat the steps 1 to 3.
Work step: 5
- Read readiness code → Reading readiness code .
If readiness code is not OK:
- Check DTC memory for stored DTCs, if so erase DTCs → Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory, checking and erasing .
- Perform work steps again.
