- Place new Engine Control Module (ECM) J248 into retaining frame.
- Install Engine Control Module (ECM) J248 connector and lock.
- Check previous code and new Engine Control Module (ECM) J248 code → Engine Control Module (ECM) J248 coding
- Check DTC memory, if necessary, repair malfunctions and erase DTC memory → Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory, checking and erasing .
