- Oil level must not be above the max. mark!

3 - Guide tube
- For dipstick
- Secured by a bolt to intake manifold
4 - Cylinder block
- Removing and installing sealing flange and dual-mass flywheel, refer to Sealing flange and dual-mass flywheel, removing and installing under Sealing flange and dual-mass flywheel, removing and installing
- Removing and installing crankshaft, refer to Crankshaft, removing and installing
- Piston and connecting rod, disassembling and assembling, refer to Piston and connecting rod, disassembling and assembling
5 - Oil non-return valve
- Removing and installing
- Note installation position
- Clean if badly soiled
6 - 8 Nm
7 - Oil pump drive cover
8 - O-ring
- Replace
- Oil before assembling
9 - Oil pump drive
10 - Intermediate shaft
11 - Thrust washer
12 - 10 Nm
- Install with locking fluid "D6"
13 - Oil spray jet
- For crankshaft bearing 2 to 7
- For piston cooling
- Opening pressure 2.0 bar pressure

14 - Input shaft
- For oil pump drive
15 - Oil pump

- Coat oil pressure line at cylinder block and oil pump housing with sealing compound AMV 188 001 02
16 - 23 Nm
17 - Oil drain plug, 30 Nm
- Replace if washer is permanent
18 - Oil pan

19 - Oil level thermal sensor G266
20 - 12 Nm
21 - Oil filter housing
