Lock Carrier Service Position

- Service Position, Setting



- Remove the front bumper. Service and Repair
- loosen the side guide pieces - 6 - from the fender.
- Remove the noise insulation. Service and Repair
- Remove the air duct bolts - 4 - between the lock carrier and air filter on the lock carrier.
- Remove the seal on the lock carrier.
- Remove the bolt - 2 - and install the guide pins (T 10093) on the right and left longitudinal members.
- Remove bolts - 1 - and - 3 - and pull the lock carrier - 5 - forward in the area with the guide pins (T 10093).
- The lock carrier - 1 - can be pulled approximately 10 cm forward on the guide pins (T 10093).



- Service Position, Resetting



- Center the lock carrier on the longitudinal members and between the fenders.
- Gap dimensions
- Follow the installation information for bolts - 1 - and - 2 -
- Service and Repair

- For vehicles with adaptive cruise control, follow the right distance regulation sensor -G259- installation information.
