Tie Rod Ends, Modified Version

The manufacturing process for tie rod ends was optimized. This has modified the outer shape and length of thread shaft.

It was then necessary to modify the tie rod ends to match the tie rods TIE RODS, MODIFIED VERSION .

Implemented as a running-change.

The modified tie rod ends have the following identifying characteristics:

A - Right Tie Rod End

1 - Hex head on thread shaft, across flats 19 mm

Dimension -a- : 94 ± 0.5 mm

Identification "A" for right

B - Left Tie Rod End

1 - Hex head on thread shaft, across flats 19 mm

Dimension -a- : 94 ± 0.5 mm

Identification "B" for left

Identifying Characteristics of Previous Tie Rod Ends

1 - Flat for wrench on shaft, with identification "R" or "L", across flats 22 mm

Dimension -a- : 74 - 1 mm

Shaft -arrow- is round

CAUTION:

These tie rod ends must not be installed on tie rods with length -a- 318.9 mm!
