Power Steering Fluid Level, Checking

-- Remove sealing cap from reservoir.

-- Clean off oil dipstick with a clean cloth.

-- Screw in sealing cap hand-tight, remove again and check fluid level.

Fluid level is only valid if cap has been screwed on.

Engine not running and front wheels in straight-ahead position.

-- Check oil level.

Oil level must be located between lowest marking -arrow A- and highest marking -arrow B- of oil dipstick.

If oil level is above marking -arrow B-, the oil must be extracted.

Do not reuse fluid you have drained.

-- If hydraulic system is properly sealed, top off hydraulic fluid.

-- Install sealing cap hand-tight on reservoir.
