Tire Pressure Monitoring Control Module

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE:

The tire pressure monitoring control module -J502- is located behind the glove compartment on the left side. It is mounted to tunnel on the front passenger side.

CAUTION:
  • Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.
  • Remove the key.

Removing 

The tire pressure monitoring control module -3- is attached to the tunnel by two bolts -1-. The spring nuts -2- are installed on the tire pressure monitoring control module -3-. The bolts -1- are accessible above the center air vent and the tire pressure monitoring control module -3- is above the glove compartment.

-- Remove the center air vent. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the steering column switch base carrier. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove bolts -1-.

-- Remove the tire pressure monitoring control module -3-.

-- Disconnect the connector -4- from the tire pressure monitoring control module -3-.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-- Tighten the bolts to 5 Nm.
