Side Inclination (Distance), Adjusting
- Loosened side trim panel
- Speaker, rear seat bench, headrest and rear backrest removed.
The window adjustment must be performed while the cover is open.
-- Lower the rear window.
-- Remove the rubber -2-
-- Loosen the bolts -1- (10 Nm).
It is not necessary to completely remove the bolts.
-- Lift the front and rear windows.
-- Loosen the bolts -arrows- (20 Nm).
-- Raise the front window to the same height as the rear window.
-- The dimension -a- = 1 to 2 mm.
-- Immediately tighten the bolts -1- (10 Nm)
-- Insert the rubber -2-.
-- Tighten the nuts -1- and -2- (20 Nm).
-- Tighten the bolt -3- until it reaches the mounting position in the body and tighten the nut in position -3- (20 Nm).
-- Loosen the nuts -arrows- (6 Nm) for the widow brackets -1- and move the window in the direction of -arrow A-.
-- Adjust the dimension -a- between the front window and the rear window.
the dimension -A- = 9.5 +/- 0.5 mm.
-- Tighten the nuts -arrows- (6Nm).
-- Lower the front and rear windows and close the cover.
Inspect the Rear Window Entry in the Rubber on the Cover
-- Mark two reference points -arrows- on the rear door windows -1-, so that the reference marks are displayed.
-- Close the cover and lift the rear window all the way in order to inspect the window entry in the cover.
If necessary, repeat the adjustment procedure.
