Abs Control Module, Coding

All functions which could previously be performed with Scan Tool VAG1551 can also be carried out with the Vehicle Diagnostic Testing and Information System VAS5051.
When ABS Control Module -J104- (w/EDL) is coded with 00000, ABS Warning Lamp -K47- and Brake System Warning Lamp -K118- flash. An entry is not made in the DTC memory.
The ABS Control Module -J104- (w/EDL) must be recoded if the vehicle relevant coding is not displayed or the control module has been replaced.

Coding is only possible after the workshop code (WSC) has been introduced into Scan Tool VAG1551.

Test Sequence

-- Connect Scan Tool VAG1551 and select (address word 03) brake electronics control module with ignition switched on; VAG 1551, CONNECTING AND SELECTING FUNCTIONS => .
